About R-tags
The SEC may require you to include Revision Tags (R-tags) on a filing.
R-tags indicate changed language for SEC staff by turning numbers and letters bright pink. The pink formatting is also visible in ThunderDome Editor and optionally in proofs. It will not appear in the filed document on SEC.gov.
How to Apply and Remove R-Tags
Step 1: To R-tag, highlight the entire table, paragraph, or heading or table where a change is made, not just a word, sentence, or number. Main financials, notes to financials, and exhibits do not need to be R-tagged.
Step 2: On the Insert ribbon, look for the group of buttons labeled Revisions. Press <R>. The selected text or table will be pink.
To remove an R-tag, place your cursor anywhere within the pink text, press <R>, then click anywhere to see the text appears normal.
