About Defined Range Changes
To change which rows and columns are identified as part of a linked table, use Excel’s Name Manager instead of removing and redefining the table to prevent an inadvertent name change.
Steps to Adjust a Defined Range
Step 1: Go to the Formulas ribbon and open the Name Manager. Begin typing “rdg” to jump to the list of ThunderDome® defined ranges.
Step 2: Select the table that needs adjustment by clicking once on the name in the list. Click in the Refers to: box, then use your mouse to carefully reselect the table in Excel.
Step 3: Press the green checkbox to save the defined range.
