EDGAR Next

RDG Help Center > EDGAR Next

The SEC transitioned to a new system, EDGAR Next, which modernized how companies submit filings and manage their EDGAR accounts. This update introduced an API-driven process, replacing outdated methods for authorizing users, filers, and handling submissions more efficiently.

What’s Changing and Why It Matters

The new EDGAR Next system requires clients and agents to manage tokens and delegation relationships. Unlike the old system, clients must now create tokens and assign permissions when delegating their filing tasks. Our goal is to help you smoothly transition to this new process, whether you file on your own or have RDG Filings do it for you.
