Required Tags for Multiple 12(b) Securities
When multiple classes of stock are present in the 12(b) table, Dimension will need to be added to all tags within the table. They will have the same Concept tag but will be distinguished by the additional items that require tagging.
1. Select the Concept.
2. Click Add Dimension, then change Axis to “StatementClassOfStockAxis.”
The Member field will populate with the same name as the original tagged value but with spaces removed; for example, “Preferred Stock” in the value will become “PreferredStock.”
3. Continue to add dimensions and change the axis when tagging both Trading Symbol and Exchange Name.
4. Once you are ready to tag the next security, repeat the steps above. When tagging the second trading symbol and exchange, you will need to select the correct Member to show which security the tags are linked to.
