Ext./Sect. (Extensions and Other Sections): The Extension and Other Sections column has two types of icons.
Extension concepts are flagged with an asterisk * symbol.
Concepts that are used to tag two or more facts are flagged with a number 2, 3, 4, or 5+ icon. This icon can be clicked to show all other sections of the filing where this concept is used. It’s a great way to research concepts from different statements or notes that tie back to financials.

Balance Type: Indicates whether a monetary concept has a balance of Debit or Credit.
Period Type: Indicates whether a concept is an Instant or Duration. Instant concepts represent a point in time. Duration concepts represent a span of time.
Data Type: Displays the concept’s associated data type. Common data types include Monetary, Shares, Per Share, String, and Percentage.
Negation: Indicates that the facts in this row have been negated. Common reasons for negation include balancing out the US GAAP concept’s assigned Balance Type of Credit or Debit and/or accommodating client presentation (facts can be displayed with brackets to indicate a loss or decrease).
Scale: Displays the Scale that each fact is presented; for example: Exact, Thousands, Millions, and Billions. Scale for the entire section can appear in the header of the first column.
A Note About Scaling
The SEC rendering may display dollar amounts in your statements and tables at a different scale than in your original document. This occurs due to how the SEC‘s system interprets the data and adjusts the scale based on XBRL formatting. If scaling appears incorrect, it‘s likely a display issue, not an error in your filing. You are always welcome to leave a comment for an XBRL tagger to review.
Unit: Displays the Unit of each presented fact; for example: USD, USD Per Share, Shares, or Gallons/Barrel.
